Make It Better: A Night of Comedy with Will Ferrell and Friends

I was originally a little confused about this, because the email I received concerning this event labeled it as supporting the Haiti relief efforts. However, that was just a special one-day sale where the proceeds would go to Haiti. The show itself is a benefit for A Better LA, a non-profit group founded by Pete Carroll, head football coach at USC. A Better LA works for, well, making Los Angeles a better place. You can check out their work work on their website.

By the way, the "and Friends" part of the show includes Tenacious D (with Jack Black), Tim and Eric , Demtri Martin (has been on the Daily Show and Comedy Central), Aubrey Plaza (she was in Funny People ), Rob Riggle (also used to be on the Daily Show), and Nick Swardson.

The only other show I've been to like this was with Sarah Silverman , and it was rather disappointing. Sarah was sick and I had heard most of her material before, and Roseanne wasn't actually funny, she just yelled a lot about things she didn't like. Hopefully, this one will be much better.

Oh, by the way, there are a few (very expensive) tickets left.
