Radiohead - New Album Soon?

I guess I didn't notice the little tidbit at the end of Radiohead's announcement of the Haiti benefit concert, when Philip mentions that the group was in the middle of recording at the time. I guess that explains why the concert was in Los Angeles, and why Thom has been doing little shows here - they have been recording a new album in LA over the past few weeks.

Apparently, I need to keep up on this stuff a little bit better! There was news in early January of a new album, and actually as far back as last October they had confirmed they would be working on a new album during the winter.

Radiohead Benefit Concert - Los Angeles, January 24th

The tickets are already being auctioned off for a last-minute Haiti charity concert from Radiohead, so you should probably hurry. Also, you should try to be rich, as the current minimum bid is $250! Of course, seeing Radiohead live is an awesome event (saw them last year in San Diego) and helping out Haiti is always good.

Bidding is here and ends Saturday at 11am PST.
